the US.

Company logo
- evolution of company logo from text to only a sign
- the representation of the logo as the word “NIKE” spread world wide, people see the “tick” know it’s Nike
- an example of globalization of the brand
Cultural
- standardization of world culture
e.g. famous sports events must have to get Nike as sponsor to show their representativeness in the sports filed
- even in poor/developing countries, people see Nike as a standard of sportswear
- destruction of specifically ethno-national ways of life
e.g. street boys seldom play football in bare foot / in non-branded footwear but they look for nike

- you can use point forms in your blog, but at least you should put your points clearly and distinguish between facts and your assumptions/guesses/analysis.
回覆刪除- pls based on the lecture and the reading, as a tool, to analyse. the "globalization" you've refering is very shallow, if it is no wrong. everyone knows, even they didn't attend this course. we should focus on the effects/consequences of cultural and economical globalization when analysing.
pls remind me to talk more about this during your group tutorial.
